Tripletail Fishing Charters

Five stars to Cpt. Jeremy Davidson for an educational and productive day learning to catch tripletail. We are experienced anglers but new to this type of fishing He worked hard to make sure we got the most out of our day..

An amazing experience! Although we signed up for the "mixed tour", about 20 minutes in, Jeremy spotted a large fish that made him loose his mind. After casting a line, he handed my 10 year-old son (who had only really ever fished off a pond dock) and excitedly tutored him through his nervousness and helped him pull in a trophy Tripletail (22 1/2"!). Highly recommend Jeremy and his knowledge and expertise for whichever tour you choose.

Capt Jeremy is one of the best Guides we e ever been out with ! He worked tirelessly to catch us fish and even when our charter ran over didn’t hesitate to stay longer. I’ll definitely be fishing with him again anytime I have the chance. He taught me more about Triple Tail fishing than I ever knew

Wow, did I have a blast! Captain Jeremy LOVES those tripletail! I've been on several guided trips over my 40years and this experience ranked in the top 5 without a doubt. It's a completely different type of fishing than anything I've done in the past and I'd thought I'd done it all. Jeremy was very patient with me and intense at the same time. He has a passion for this fish that is highly contagious! If you want a technical angling experience that involves sighting the fish, precise bait presentation, one heck of a fight and what might just be the best tasting fish I've had the pleasure of eating; I can't recommend Southern Salinity enough! I can’t say enough great things about Captain Davidson and his charters! The fishing was terrific and Captain Davidson could not have been nicer. We had several teens with us and he was super patient with all of us! He’s a great fishing coach (with a great sense of humor) and helped us pull in some giant fish! It was our second adventure with him and we will definitely be going out with him again!

We have the privilege to go out fishing with Jeremy. Jeremy provided us with everything we needed and put us on fish and demonstrated proper technique to land triple tail. After several attempts and finally getting down the technique we slayed the fish it was an awesome time. If you wanna come down here to Apalachicola Florida and have a great time and catch some wonderful fish I would highly recommend Southern Salinity

Hands down the best guided trip I've had in a long time. Patience and perseverance was the name of the game. The weather was not working with us and I knew that most guides would have thrown in the towel. Captain Jeremy pushed on threw. We had to work as a team, Capt. Jeremy in the tower and me on the front listening very carefully for directions. With very little sun and a good bit of wind we had to rely on Captain Jeremy's extensive knowledge of how these fish think and act. We ended up with 8 nice Triple tail and I got an incredible education. What more could you ask for. Book with Southern Salinity and you won't be disappointed.

This is one guide that really works for his clients. Operating the boat is a challenge in itself but to teach us the technique of triple tail fishing was even tougher. We had a terrific day and caught several "filet mignon" of the sea. Thanks again Jeremy

This was my 2nd and 3rd times fishing with Captain Jeremy. He has yet to disappoint. If you're wanting to fish in the great Apalachicola area, go with him without hesitation.

Captain Davidson was an awesome guide. Very knowledgeable and patient. He actually gets extremely excited when you catch a Triple tail. Almost like it was his first one. If you want a different experience fishing along the “Forgotten Coast”, then book this trip.

Great Guide: We had never been triple tail fishing before and he walked us step by step on how to catch a triple tail and we caught 16 lb triple tail!!! If you do not listen to what he says you will not catch a triple tail. We even had our 6 year old daughter with us and he showed her how to try to catch one as well.

Best fishing day! Jeremy is such a knowledgeable Captain and an absolute joy to be with! He’s become a friend! We also had an exceptional sunrise river adventure. Jeremy was great at spotting birds and stopping for us to take pictures. It was such a great outing! We look forward to our next adventures with him!
